How long does the SBTI test take?
The test has 30 questions and takes about 3–5 minutes. Each question is a simple statement — you just pick the option that feels closest to you. You can finish in one sitting, and your progress stays on the page as long as you don't close the tab.

How accurate is SBTI?
SBTI was designed as a fun, modern alternative to traditional personality tests. While it's not a clinical diagnostic tool, thousands of people have told us the results feel surprisingly accurate. The test uses 15 personality dimensions (compared to MBTI's 4) and Euclidean distance scoring to match you to one of 27 distinct personality types. It's for self-reflection and entertainment — not a substitute for professional psychological assessment.
How are my results calculated?
Your answers are mapped to 15 personality dimensions (like Self-Worth, Energy, Attachment Style, etc.). Each dimension gets a score based on your responses. Your overall profile is then matched to the closest of 27 personality types using Euclidean distance — essentially finding which type's profile is most similar to yours. You also get a match percentage showing how closely you fit your type.
Can I retake the test?
Absolutely — and it's free every time. Your results might change depending on your mood or life circumstances, and that's completely normal. Some people enjoy retaking it every few months to see how they've grown.
How many personality types are there?
SBTI has 27 personality types, each with a unique code and name — like CTRL (The Controller), SEXY (The Stunner), MONK (The Monk), and LOVE-R (The Romantic). You can browse all 27 types on our Types page.
Do you offer other tests besides SBTI?

Is my data private?
We don't require signup, don't collect emails, and don't store your answers on our servers. Your quiz data lives in your browser and is only used to calculate your result. We use Vercel Analytics (anonymized) to understand basic site traffic, but we never track individual users.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal, which supports most credit/debit cards and bank accounts in 200+ countries. The payment is processed securely by PayPal — we never see or store your payment details.
Who made SBTI?
SBTI was inspired by the wave of personality tests that went viral on Chinese social media in 2022–2024. We loved the humor and self-awareness these tests sparked, so we built an English version with original questions, new dimensions, and richer result descriptions. The site is run by a small team who just really enjoy personality psychology.
Can I use SBTI for my team / class / event?
